	NEWS A Live Action Film based on AoT is in production, this fan made picture states that it will hit theatres on September 07, 2018 but it is believed to reach the public sometime in 2015. It is known to be in planning before late 2012, when its director, Tetsuya Nakashima walked away from the project. There was no other news until December of 2013 when it was announced that Shinji Higuchi would be directing the film and would also be responsible for the special effects. Yūsuke Watanabe and critic/subculture expert Tomohiro Machiyama will script the film. Production began in the summer of 2014.
