Harry is the boy who lived. He starts his magical journey at age 11, like all wizards do. Throughout the seven books, Harry becomes stronger, smarter, and harder to kill. He survived Voldemort after only one year of learning spells, and at the age of 11, did something that many great wizards couldn't- fight Voldemort and survive. When he was a baby, his parents were both killed by Voldemort. Voldemort also tried to kill Harry, but failed. This attempt at murdering baby Harry left him with a lightning bolt scar, made Harry a horcrux, and "destroyed" Voldemort. He ends up marrying Ginny Weasley, Ron's younger sister. Harry was in Gryffindor, but was almost placed in Slytherin. In the movies, Harry Potter was played by Daniel Radcliffe.
