Attack on Titan

General Information

Attack on Titan is a Japanese manga by Hajime Isayama who wrote and drew it all. Since then, the manga has grown to hold 54 volumes, there is an anime based on the manga, it has several different spin-off mangas based loosely on it, and there is a Live-Action Film that is expected to hit theaters next year (2015). Since its beginning, Attack on Titan has become very commercially successful, with over 36 million copies circling the globe as of April 2014. When the anime was released, the series also gained a lot of popularity.

I personally heard of Attack on Titan through a friend. He asked me if I wanted to play a browser game he found online that was a tribute to one of his favorite animes and I agreed to play. The game was really fun and some of the characters in it had some neat powers so I decided to watch the anime and find out how they really got those powers, who the characters were. I haven't watched much anime, but if I had to choose a favorite, it'd probably be Attack on Titan. The game isn't the only Attack on Titan game out there, but for a free game, it sure was fun to play with a group of friends.
